Housing Stockholm

Based on the modular town house system developed by Realarchitektur for a collective housing project in Tensta, the first project, on Kransbindarvägen in Hägersten, Stockholm, has around 40 units spread over 4 buildings. An additional building at the entrance to the project houses a nursery. Construction of the project started in 2012. The project borders a a conservation area  with a housing development originally built for workers at the Ericsson factory.

The buildings in the new housing project have been conceived with a set of 4 different unit types, ranging from two storey 4 room flats to three storey 5 room flats. The units are placed at different heights on the sloping site and combine to form larger buildings.
